Si trovano in internet molte immaini di cd ISO avviabili, ad esempio delle distribuzioni Linux che offrono i LiveCD. Per eseguire questi CD senza doverli masterizzare fisicamente, possiamo utilizzare VMware, configurando opportunamente il file .vmx che contiene le informazioni sull'immagine da eseguire:
Creiamo un file di nome
livecd.vmx e scriviamoci il seguente codice. Sostituiamo
tua_immagine.iso con l'immagine del cd avviabile.
